Adidas 2019 World Cup

Twitter x Adidas was executed through DIVE Billboards, integrating mobile capabilities that broadcasted live #WorldCup Tweets during quarter, semi and final #WorldCup matches on the OOH displays, including digital directories in CF Toronto Eaton Centre. The campaigns generated excitement and buzz in Toronto’s landmark, Yonge-Dundas Square and beyond, and saw impressive results.

The World Cup is an event that brings the world together every 4 years. Using Twitter as a platform to pull content from was natural, as social platforms connect the world day by day! Events like the World Cup exist online and Twitter provides a chance for fans to support their teams, get a bit competitive, and share the love.

Lighting up Toronto’s Yonge and Dundas Square, Adidas and DIVE brought the activation to life. The massive display hosted photos, videos, and text on one side, with the call to action (CTA) on the other. Adidas ads also came on briefly for a massive screen takeover!
